TL, DR
We've spent quite a bit of time journaling and painting in a variety of sketchbooks from all the major companies: Thicker paper (300lb paper), thinner paper (90lb paper), spiral-bound journals, book-bound sketchbooks, lay-flat books, panorama-style watercolor books, but one thing kept on bothering us.
What is that one thing?
Our brand new aluminum disc-bound journals are ready to solve all of these worries.
You might not know this, but we live a full-time RV lifestyle, traveling around the country to see everything it has to offer and paint everywhere we can on the way.
Why am I telling you this? Because storage space comes at a premium in an RV and the decision to bring something into our lives, means there will likely be a decision to remove something from our lives.
Does this sound reminiscent to you? (Maybe so, maybe no.)
But heaven forbid its a journal of many of our recent adventures because sometimes the only solution is getting rid of one of these books. (And, for that matter, there are two of us, Rari and I, so more than likely it's two of these sketchbooks.)
We, of course, take many photos of these past sketches in watercolor, but otherwise,
it's bon voyage! Arrivederci !!!
So have a look at the new journal collection and see if something catches your eye. We know it's hard to choose from all of the colorful options, but we know you will find the perfect journal.
So what you see you may be vast, and it will likely change often. Which we think is actually a good thing.
The fabric world is the fashion world, so styles will come and go, and disappear fast. (Hence, the "limited-edition") We might be able to secure more of a certain style and less of another, but we think it will just be easier to keep things fresh and renewed. Let's sketchbook!
[Ps. If you've read this far, you're a trooper. We love you for that fact!
Shoot me a direct message and let me know if you want to see something in particular combination that is not below.
Best, Ryan. hello@wildplein.com]
