Sketch Newport Coast

We're bringing plein air sketching and watercolor painting to our local community of Newport, OR.

We spend so much of our time in the fall and winter adventuring up and down the coast, that combining both passions for painting and the outdoors right here in our backyard is not only a logical decision but an absolute necessity. 

Sure we love visiting our friends in Portland to participate in Urban Sketching events around their digs, but having to commit to a 2+ hour drive up north to join in their fun seems like a wasted opportunity to enjoy all that surrounds us here around Yaquina Bay.

In Newport, a year-round working bay and gorgeous tourism area for close to if not more than 100 years, we know we have what adventurers are looking for. 

Although it can be chilly for this time of year, that has never stopped us from getting out there and sketching all types of scenes regardless of the weather.
